We’re a husband-and-wife team who got fed up watching good people and good missions get crushed by the same preventable problems: endless red tape, fear of new technology, and billion-dollar “solutions” that solve nothing.

We’ve lived it from both sides.

Victoria started in the Intelligence Community in 2009, first as a geologist and later in roles that demanded she make sense of massive, messy data under impossible deadlines. She watched smart analysts drown in outdated processes and shrink from anything labeled “AI” because no one spoke plain English about it. That frustration pushed her to earn her Doctor of Engineering in AI and Machine Learning, not to chase buzzwords, but to build tools that actually help humans work better and faster.

Thomas spent years in and around defense and government contracting, where “slow is smooth and smooth is fast” is more than a saying; it’s survival. He’s seen small businesses bleed out because they couldn’t move at the speed the mission required, and he’s seen giant programs buy glittering lemons that never worked in the real world. With a Master’s in Cybersecurity and a stubborn refusal to accept “good enough,” he’s made a career out of finding the real bottleneck, killing it, and doing it all inside the rules that govern classified and regulated environments.

Together, we started Fitzinit because we’re tired of the false choice between “enterprise monstrosity” and “nothing at all.”
